Is The Easy Dialer Right For You?

What is an Auto Dialer and which one is best for you? The definition of 'auto dialer' has changed over the years along with technology, but in the most general terms, an auto dialer is a computer system that dials the telephone number for you. Some may also play messages to both people who answer and/or answering machines. For the sake of our discussion lets break them down into three groups -

1. Voice Broadcaster - A computer system that dials phone numbers and plays a pre-recorded message. The Easy Dialer is NOT a voice broadcaster. Voice broadcasters are regulated by the federal government and many state and local laws.

2. Power Dialer - A direct sales productivity tool used by telemarketing personnel or sales professionals which dials numbers from a CRM, allows salespeople to take notes for the call in the CRM, leaves a pre-recorded message for answering machines, sends follow up emails and allows for reporting on activity. The Easy Dialer IS a Power Dialer. Since power dialers are automatic phone dialers with built in crm functions they are not currently regulated as predictive dialers and voice broadcasters.

3. Predictive Dialer - Use multiple outbound lines, a server to do the phone line monitoring and prediction and multiple telemarketing agents. The computer predicts the best time to make new calls, thereby attempting to utilize 100% of the telemarketing agents talk time. This is done at the expense of the people being called. Dead air or dropped calls occur when the computer incorrectly predicts the correct time to call. For these reasons predictive dialers have come under regulation.
